Story And Details

This coffee is produced by Solomon Hameso Boku. Solomon is a single farmer working with various out-growers. He bought his farm in 2017 and is now working with around 200 outgrowers. He has dry processing sites in different areas: Bensa-Huro Tibro, Kokose and Aroresa.

This lot’s processing involves picking ripe red cherries and presorting and then drying on a raised African bed. After checking moisture and finishing more defect sorting, they put the coffees with Jemfel (dried pods) in a warehouse.

This natural processed coffee has bright notes of nectarines, blackberry and blueberries with complementary chocolatey and brown sugar undertones.

Location:  Kokose, Bensa, Sidama
Producer: Smallholder Farmers
Varietal:    Ethiopian Landraces
Process:   Sundried Natural
Altitude:    1,900 - 2,000 m.

Another great coffee expression, delicious in a clever dripper at 14:1 ratio.

Love the berry notes. Daily go-to coffee. Would prefer natural processed Ethiopia.

Hi Amy, thank you for the feedback and orders! This coffee from Basha Bekele is indeed a natural processed coffee, sometimes its referred to as “dry processed” (vs. wet or washed process) but they are essentially interchangeable terms. Should you have any questions please reach out to us via our email info_greatcirclecoffee dot com. Best!
